How it works +
The server samples coordinates uniformly in a square. Points with x² + y² ≤ 1 lie inside the inscribed circle. Estimated π = 4 × points inside ÷ total points.
All points contribute to the totals. The canvas shows the last 1,500 points; the curve shows cumulative estimates over the last 100. Finite random samples fluctuate and do not always improve the estimate.
No registration. Everyone appears as “Anonymous”. Results update after successful submissions. Reloading does not erase shared history. The server stores participation records; the page shows recent entries.
